Treble by Nature is a nonprofit corporation proud to be one of the scores of community singing groups in Colorado. 2003-2004 is our fifth season. The primary driving force behind the formation of Treble by Nature was to make available a non-audition, inexpensive, high-quality choral ensemble for women in the Denver Metropolitan area. We seek to create a distinctive and accessible chroal experience with a community of diverse individuals. We come together to share with each other and the general public, the artistic, educational and social rewards inherent in ensemble singing. We are dedicated to preserving the art of choral singing by touching both performer and audience member with fine choral music. We hope to stimulate and delight, both singers and audiences, through the expression and reception of live vocal music.
Performers will have the benefit of: 1) a fresh appreciation for the joy of singing; 2) the unique intimacy of ensemble participation; 3) expanding their musical vocabulary and understanding; 4) the excitement of public performance; 5) the challenge of being exposed to music from a variety of cultural sources; and 6) the opportunity to be deeply involved in the development of a community organization.
Audiences will savor: 1) the enlightenment that accompanies exposure to quality choral music; 2) the appreciation and enjoyment of beautiful singing; 3) a diverse and eclectic selection of choral music; and, 4) supporting a worthwhile community organization.
